Purpose: Students who complete this module can describe and identify different characteristics of vegetation, problem plants, and fire as well as suggest and critically assess vegetation management and monitoring programmes within a southern African context. This module provides fundamental knowledge which will provide support to further studies in the field of vegetation management. Students registering for this module are required to have regular access to a computer and the internet in order to download or read essential study material from the myUnisa module site and the world wide web. This module will be presented online, and no study material will be posted for this module.
