| Purpose: Qualifying students will conduct research by identifying an appropriate focus in art practice and thereafter map the terrain for art practitioners through the submission of a proposal and a report. The research conducted will enable students to express themselves as artists in writing and present themselves professionally at various forums such as at art galleries, public forums, art exhibitions and in cyber space. Qualifying students will gain skills and competencies related to curatorial and marketing demands of a professional artist regarding formal and general conduct/attitude. |
