| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to equip students with detailed knowledge and insight and prepare themselves for a career in project management within the South African public sector. On completion of this module, students will have the ability to understand and critically evaluate the project management cycle, project team set-up, project definition, -scope, -planning, -implementation, -control and -evaluation. In addition, the module is intended to help public managers increase their capacity to respond creatively to project management challenges of the new millennium. |
