| Purpose: Those who achieve this module will have a grounding in psychometric theory, an understanding of the issues related to assessment in the multicultural South African context, and knowledge of the different types of psychological assessment measures. Qualifying students will be able to critically discuss the assessment measures and procedures of assessment relevant to different contexts. The purpose of the learning is to deliver students who can contribute to assessment contexts. The module also serves as the basis for further specialisation in the field of assessment. | |||
