| Purpose: After completing this module, students will be able to engage with contemporary public human resource management challenges on a practical and theoretical level more particularly within the global, BRICS, African and South African contexts, and develop strategic human resource management capacity with specific reference to the local and African context. Students will have the ability to increase their knowledge, skills, competencies and expertise to respond creatively to the human resource challenges of the new millennium.
