Purpose: The purpose of this module is to provide students with an opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge of chemical engineering principles by performing well-defined laboratory and pilot plant experiments in the fields relevant to the pulp and paper industry viz: fluid flow, separations thermodynamics, process control and pulp and paper processing. Student will also gain exposure to working in teams.
