Purpose: The purpose of the module is to equip students with skills to write a research proposal. This entails defining a topic, hypothesis, aim and objectives, writing of a literature study using a defined referencing format and identify applicable research methodology in the Agricultural fields (Animal Health; Agricultural Management; Crop Production and Animal Production). The student should be able to compile an acceptable research proposal that will result in the implementation of the selected topic in a field specialization under the supervision of a lecturer.
