| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to equip students in the policing, corporate, business, parastatal, private and public investigation environment with knowledge and skills to conduct research and produce a comprehensive report on forensic investigation in forensic science and technology appropriate to an honours level. It will enable students to consolidate and deepen their expertise, and to develop research capacity in forensic science and technology. Students who complete this module will demonstrate knowledge relating to and the application of forensic investigation in forensic science and technology. This module will enable students to incoporate the principles of Africanisation, ubuntu, humanizing the law and social responsibility. Forensic science and technology include forensic investigation in all sections and role-players in the policing, private, public, business, parastatal and corporate industries. |
