Purpose: The purpose of the module is to equip students with the competencies required to plan, execute and write an acceptable academic research report on the employee and consumer behaviour topics of either employee wellness, or employment relations, or consumer psychology. Students will be able to critically interrogate, analyse and evaluate the credibility and usefulness of information and data from multiple sources in a globalised world with its ever-increasing information and data flows and competing worldviews. Students will be able to apply their knowledge of employee and consumer behaviour pertaining to wellness, employment relations and consumer psychology competently, ethically and creatively to solve real-life problems. Students will be able to interrogate and critically review existing research on the topics of wellness, employment relations and consumer psychology, and apply, integrate and communicate appropriate research methodologies relevant to the chosen research topic.
