| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to prepare students that wish to pursue a post graduate Masters or Doctorate
degree in Electrical Engineering, or to follow a future career in Research and Development in Electrical
Engineering.
In this module students will be introduced to research methodology, modelling, scientific computing, statistical
analysis, and presentation of results. Students will also be exposed to proposal, progress report and dissertation
writing. They will learn how to use scientific methods to conduct research, analyze data, interpret results and make a
rational inference based on evidence. |
