| Purpose: This module as part of the Postgraduate Diploma in Language Education aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge for conducting research in the field of language education. Students registered for this module will be guided to identify a language education problem. Furthermore, students will be guided through the various steps of research proposal writing which will consist of the followings; a suitable title, the problem statement, research questions, preliminary literature review, a theoretical framework, research design, trustworthiness and list of references. Upon completion of this module students will be able to write a research proposal for use to furthering their studies. |
