| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to enable students to demonstrate detailed knowledge within new or existing retail planning and operations management contexts of the main areas of retail planning and operations management; their ability to evaluate, select and apply appropriate methods, procedures or techniques to make decisions and solve problems in a retail context; and an understanding of the ethical implications of their decisions and actions in the retail context. Furthermore, to enable students to take charge of their learning by demonstrating an ability to take responsibility for decisions, evaluate performance against given criteria, accurately address their task-specific learning needs, and provide support to the learning needs of peers where appropriate. |
