Purpose: of this module is to analyse risk factors and develop effective security measures to counteract such risks. Students are expected to gain well-rounded, systematic knowledge, skills and applied competence in security risk control. They will gain an informed understanding of relevant concepts and principles to assist in the effective selection and application of such measures. The module is structured to meet the needs of individuals and the security industry. It is aimed at those with relevant experience or employment in security or related fields. This module equips students to identify, analyse and evaluate security risk control measures to ensure effective and beneficial protection of an environment. It advances technical knowledge and develops skills for implementing and evaluating security risk control measures.
