Purpose: This module is primarily intended for candidates who are interested in qualifying as chartered management accountants with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). This module will enable students to develop some of the necessary competencies required by this professional body. Students who successfully complete this module will be equipped to: Explain, describe and apply certain newer costing and management accounting techniques that are suited to the modern business environment. Discuss various project management principles and apply selected tools and techniques. Apply the International Accounting Standard 33 - Earnings Per Share to different scenarios. Demonstrate awareness of recent developments in financial and non-financial reporting
