Purpose: The purpose of the module is to equip students with basic knowledge of social work management, supervision, administration and ethics. Students who successfully complete this module will be able to outline the role, functions and significance of management, supervision and administration in social work practice. They will also be able to explain the role of multidisciplinary teams in various settings of social work practice and the fundamentals of organisations within the social welfare context.
