| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to equip students with knowledge of the different pieces of legislation pertaining to children and families who require statutory intervention and with knowledge and skills in report writing for statutory purposes. Students who successfully complete this module will be able to critically examine the important sections relevant to social work intervention espoused in the different acts, and they will also be able to critically appraise social work statutory reports and analyse case studies in view of writing social work reports for statutory purposes. | |||
