Purpose: This module aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the nature and scope of public services in health, welfare, and housing within South Africa, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs: Good Health and Well-being; No Poverty Sustainable communities). Students will gain insights into the roles and contributions of various stakeholders in public service provision. Upon successful completion, students will be able to contribute to the development and improvement of public services, directly supporting South Africa's efforts to achieve the relevant SDGs by addressing key challenges in health, welfare, and housing.
