| Purpose: of this module is interdisciplinary in nature and will be useful to students who are interested in understanding and implementing animal welfare concepts and strategies into the wildlife industry.
Students assessed as competent in this module will be knowledgeable in key animal welfare concepts, South African welfare legislation, ethical research and be able to apply animal welfare principles in wildlife management practices.
