Lodge a complaint

Before you lodge your complaint, please confirm the following:

  • feel aggrieved by the inadequate service and administration malpractice
  • have exhausted other internal complaints remedies and procedures
  • have checked the university’s enquiry information for the list of available avenues and have exhausted them
  • have approached the Student Communication Centre in trying to resolve your query, by calling the number 0800 00 1870
  • have sent an email to the relevant department or College but have not received adequate response
  • have always used my mylife email account in case of students and official Unisa email address in case of staff members, in communicating with the university including the Ombudsman Office
