Chair of Department
The Department of Business Management (DBM) warmly welcomes you to the 2025 academic year. As a department, we pride ourselves as being one of the largest commercial education departments in the continent. The DBM is one of the four departments domicile within the School of Management Sciences.
We offer a whole range of qualifications from certificates up until PhD level. DBM has various research focus areas that are aligned with UNISA’s catalytic niche areas, UNISA’s 2030 strategy, and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. We are in partnerships with various entities within industry and academic fraternities.
The DBM is also in touch with our students and communities through our engaged scholarship projects. These projects are meant to inform our teaching and research as well as providing sustainable impact to our key stakeholders. Please feel free to engage with us for your studies, partnerships, and collaborations.
