Application to Conduct Research Involving Unisa Employees, Students and Data 2017

If your research would entail you interviewing UNISA staff or students or accessing data from UNISA, a higher degree of ethical clearance and permission would be required.

Permission for such research would also need to be channelled via the Department to the College Ethics Review Committee and from there to the University’s Ethics Review Committee and serve with other structures. Since this is not a common occurrence, we have not attached those forms here. Should your proposed study entail this, please make enquiries about the forms and procedures with the Department.
