To celebrate Unisa’s 150th anniversary, the College of Education hosted various events, including graduations, school visits and a brunch, at Unisa’s original birthplace, Cape Town, throughout the week of 22-27 May 2023. From the dusty streets of Mabuyeni section, KwaNdebele, Dr Thuli Ntuli took the advise of her late grandfather that she must get educated. With no graduate in her immediate family, she had to self-motivate to achieve her goal of getting a tertiary education.
