Acting Vice Principal for Teaching, Learning, Community Engagement and Student Support

Dr Azwinndini Christopher Tshivhase is the Acting Vice Principal for Teaching, Learning, Community Engagement and Student Support (TLCESS) at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He previously served as Executive Director of Academic Planning. He holds a PhD in Policy Development and Implementation from the University of Pretoria, along with additional qualifications in education, management, and online learning.

Dr Tshivhase has presented at numerous education conferences internationally, visiting countries across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. His career includes six years teaching Learners with Special Educational Needs and senior roles at several South African universities and public institutions. At UNISA, he leads the Programme Qualification Mix (PQM) and contributes to curriculum transformation, digital learning, and strategic planning.
