Paulo Mateus António Uache is. From 2020 to 2024, he served as Academic Director, following his tenure as Academic Director at Instituto Superior de Relações Internacionais (2016–2020). Earlier, he was Head of International Relations and Foreign Policy at the Centro de Estudos Estratégicos e Internacionais.

He holds a PhD in International Politics from UNISA, a Master’s in Diplomatic Studies from Westminster, a Bachelor’s Honours in International Relations, and a Bachelor’s in Philosophy. Paulo teaches courses in EU Studies, Geopolitics, Diplomacy, and Foreign Policy.

He has consulted for government and international agencies, authored several books, and regularly contributes media analysis on politics, governance, and foreign policy.
