Prof Wendy Kilfoil

Professor Wendy Kilfoil has worked in higher education since 1984, with 25 years in distance education, including 15 at UNISA. She began as a lecturer in English before becoming Director of Curriculum and Learning Development at UNISA (2004) and later Director of Education Innovation at the University of Pretoria (2008). At UP, her department focused on teaching development and later student success.

After retirement, she continued working at UP for five years and was appointed a Siyaphumelela student success coach for phases 2.0 and 3.0. She has also supported quality assurance at UNISA and UP, served on the CHE accreditation committee and HEQC, and remains active in university reviews.
