I am a scholar and educational practitioner with over 29 years of experience, spanning roles from teacher to full professor. My academic identity integrates curriculum studies with a research agenda focused on instructional leadership, curriculum delivery, assessment, and large‑scale teacher development in South Africa and the SADC region. I hold a Doctor of Education (Didactics), a Master’s in ODeL Curriculum Studies (with distinction), and international certification in online teaching.

Currently, I serve as Full Professor and Head of Teaching, Learning, Community Engagement, PQM, and Student Support at UNISA, providing strategic leadership informed by curriculum analytics. My contributions include peer‑reviewed publications, postgraduate supervision, international collaborations, and funded initiatives advancing curriculum innovation and systemic improvement.
