Dr Roelien Brink
Director of Cooperative Education at Tshwane University of Technology
Dr Roelien Brink is Director of Cooperative Education at Tshwane University of Technology, with 16 years of expertise in Work Integrated Learning (WIL). She earned her PhD in Information Management, developing a framework for the WIL process.
Actively engaged in WIL research, she led the WILSA environmental scan under THENSA. Dr. Brink serves as reviewer for the International Journal for Work-Integrated Learning and examiner for postgraduate theses, while supervising master’s and doctoral students.
She chairs the Learning in Practice Community of Practice under USAf, contributes to the World of Work Strategy group, and sits on the Executive Council of WACE. Her leadership and scholarship continue to shape WIL practice, advancing innovation and collaboration in South African higher education.
